A Valentines Love Note To My Boo...My Wife

When you are alone you have time to think about your ups in your life and your downs. You have time to think about your past and your future. You have time to think about your failures and your successes. You have time to think about why you were even created, why God put you here.
 When you are alone, your mind tends to wonder all over the place.   I had time to think about these things and the one common dominator that kept my thoughts focused on God was you.  

The Bible says, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."  And the one thing I can say is….you are all those things and a bag of chips.

It’s been almost 9 short years since the day we said “I do” and came together as one.  I’m getting goose bumps sitting here thinking about that because when I think about you and what God blessed me with, it STILL send chills through my body.  It reminds me of a song by R Kelly, How Did You Manage. This song usually touches my soul and brings the emotion out of me (just a few manly tears) because it reminds me of how God still loved me despite me not loving Him like I should.  How He continues to bless me where I did not deserve to be blessed.  How He continues to show me favor where favor was not deserved, how He continues to give me mercy where I did not deserve mercy.  The song reminds me of how God blessed me with a beautiful woman when I did not deserve to have a woman of your statue.  

Sometimes we can get caught up on our surroundings and circumstances and lose focus why we are here, but as the Bible tells us to think on good things it helps us to bring our focus back to Him.  And when we think about Him, it moves our soul and spirit to show love to those who need to be love.  Boo, thank you for bringing joy in my life and helping me stay focused on the One whom everything comes from because when I think about you (your warmth, your care, your joy, your smile, and your lovely body) it gives me the motivation to go out love on the world as God commanded us to do.  I love you Boo.  Happy Valentines day.
